Historical Exhibition The Founders of the Mathematical Society in Kraków and the Activity of the Polish Mathematical Society up to the year 1936 .

One of the accompanying events to the Jubilee Congress for the 100 th Anniversary of the Polish Mathematical Society will be an exhibition called The Founders of the Mathematical Society in Kraków and the activity of the Polish Mathematical Society up to the year 1936. Documents connected with the founding members of the Mathematical Society in Kraków, related to their activity in around the time of 1919 will be shown.

Accession to the Society during the Constituent Meeting was declared by the following members:

The second part of the exhibition will be dedicated to functioning of the Polish Mathematical Society based in Kraków until the year 1936. Presented materials will come from the archives of the Polish Academy of Science, Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, the archive of the Jagiellonian University, PTM book of minutes and other sources.

In preparing the exhibition, there will be used materials shared by the late Professor Andrzej Pelczar collected for the preparation of the article: S. Domoradzki, A.
