Program of the Jubilee Congress for the 100th Anniversary of the Polish Mathematical Society
September 3-7, 2019, Kraków

During the first two days of the Congress, all lectures and panels will be conducted in the Polish language. English will only be acceptable in case of plenary lectures given by those invited guests, who have been living abroad for many years and thus feel more comfortable talking about mathematics in foreign language.

Popularization panel is planned at the Pedagogical University since 9.00 (if interested in participation please contact to dr Karol Gryszka, e-mail: karol.gryszka@up.krakow.pl). The final of Konkurs Prac Uczniowskich im. P. Domańskiego will take place at 14.30 in AM. The special movie sessions for pupils are planned in Kijów Cinema at 11.00-13.00: „Przestrzenie Banacha” (directed by Krzysztof Lange) and „Polscy pogromcy Enigmy” (directed by Waldemar Stankiewicz). The sessions will be accompanied by special introduction for the youth. Earlier reservation is obligatory (till June 30, please contact Dagmara Waszkiewicz, e-mail: dagmara.waszkiewicz@uj.edu.pl). At 16.00-18.00 both movie sessions will be repeated, at open entrance.
